Two sampling stations Domestic effluent station and Industrial effluent station were identified for sampling. The water quality variables were analyzed as per standard methods given in American Public Health Association (APHA, 1989). Water quality parameters such as pH, temperature, conductivity, TDS, DO, BOD5, COD, TOC, acidity, alkalinity, total hardness, chloride, nitrate, phosphate, MPN, and heavy metals were analyzed and results were compared with the control water sample which was distilled water.
