Success and Family Life of Women Entrepreneurs in a Backward Province � A Case Study

Women in India, in general are faced certain problems to lead their life in business. The role of women entrepreneurs is to explore the prospects of starting new enterprise with new innovations and must be ready to take the risks, control of business and provide effective leadership in all aspects of business. Indian women give more emphasis to family ties and relationships. Married women have to make a fine balance between business and home. A sample of 300 women entrepreneurs was selected for the present study from Anantapur district of Rayalaseema region in Andhra Pradesh State, India to analyse the reasons for their success and impact on the relationship with the family members and chores.
